No Flash for Android 4.1, no new installs after August 15

Adobe announced yesterday that its mobile version of Flash is completely unsupported on Android 4.1, and no new downloads of Flash from the Google Play store will be possible after August 15. Until then, installing Flash on devices running Jelly Bean, including the new Nexus 7 tablet and the handful of devices scheduled to be updated in July, is technically possible, but any issues with the player will be left for the user to deal with, not Adobe or the manufacturer.
